This will probably be the last week this year that we can include hydrangeas in our weekly offering for In a Vase on Monday. I see no new buds. My Arranger suggested two simple but distinct settings for displaying them.

A Walk in the Garden 
I just saw a few here which makes me happy as I thought mine were done. These are simply stunning! Especially the blue against that incredible foliage.

Thank you, Donna. The foliage is Aucuba japonica ‘Mr Goldstrike.’ I am sure you will be seeing more of it in the future as it is one of our favorites, and it goes with so many things.

The first flowers made such a smooth and symmetrical shape, and the different colors blended look very elegant with the decorative vase. The Danish blue of the second Hydrangeas looks very startling with the yellow and green of the foliage.
