In a Vase on Monday: Nothing New

‘Tis Monday and time for a vase. Right now the flowers in my garden are limited to Encore azaleas, Knockout roses, and a few lingering annuals. This may be the last time for ‘Sunny Disposition’ iris, so, even though I have pictured it several times in recent weeks, it does happen to be the most colorful item for the vase this week.

My Arranger used the Japanese vase once again and added the lemon for color and whimsy.

My thanks again to Cathy at Rambling in the Garden for starting this enjoyable meme. Visit her blog to see what she and others are displaying this week.

  1. How I love the Japanese style – and with a touch of whimsy! What could be better! Sayonara!

Your iris really does look lemony, so I like the addition of the fruit! Beautifully arranged, as always. 🙂

Lovely the way your arranger composed this. The lemon picks up the yellow from the irises.
