Things I See Around Town

I think there are some very puzzled plants in our area.

Here we are just a few days from the start of winter, when what to my wondering eyes should appear at the entrance to my daughter’s old neighborhood but clumps of daffodils…in bloom…on the 19th of December!

Seeing daffodils in bloom is always a welcome sight, regardless of the time. I just hope these beauties are not as confused as I am.

    The weather doesn’t know what it’s doing over here either, we have our first daffodils in flower here in the garden too. In town centres they look very strange flowering with the Christmas decorations!

    We are confused over here too, as its apparently warmer here than May this year when it was two degrees down on average. Today the December temperature was 17c 62f. I then read the long term January forecast is to be especially cold…..
