In keeping with one of the originator’s suggestions, here is a newer version of an old photo: The Phrog Philarmonia, which has been playing in my garden for a number of years.

I have added a percussionist and a floutist since the picture was taken. I’m on the lookout for a trumpeter.

These came from numerous sources…many of which I happened upon in our travels. Some were quite expensive; others were in the cheap sale section.

We have two frogs like that playing a tune in our garden! They’re great fun. Unfortunately both of them lost their eyes – which fell out!

I have a non-musical frog who wields a hoe; he has lost an eye too. Maybe that’s why we have so much trouble with rabbits.
