Double Feature

Today is a double whammy! It’s In a Vase on Monday and it’s Garden Bloggers’ Foliage Day. Therefore I feel compelled to offer a double feature…foliage in a vase.

John Viccellio retired after 24 years in the U. S. Navy and began to dig into gardening when he could finally land in one place. He completed the Master Gardener course in 1992 and has since designed and constructed two of his own gardens.     Perfect reply to the problem of two memes on one day John. It just proves how good foliage can look on its own without any flowers in the garden or in a vase. Thanks for joining GBFD.

    Nice foliage display. After many years of disparaging Gold Dust Aucuba, I now miss it. So nice to see some again – have you noticed the English ladies call it Spotted Laurel?

    A great double, John, as the green-based foliage goes beautifully with the blue and white Japanese pot that you have used s a vase. Thanks for sharing
