Lovely blossom – there’s some out far too early in Manchester (uk) as it’s been so mild and wet. I love cherry blossoms so am looking forward to more 🙂

Thank you, John – one thing I really miss from living further north is Cherry blossoms, so nice to see Okame and Yoshino again.

You’ve seen a Magnolia in flower too, I saw a couple last weekend, is it early for them in NC?

I don’t know if it’s early for magnolias, but they are showing all over town now.

Ahhhh, beautiful! I have also seen a couple of early flowering cherries – such a lovely sight. But Magnolias won’t flower here until April and are always at risk of a late frost.

It is growing wild neat us. It is certainly a prunus of some sort, but I don’t know which one.
