The Governor has arrived!
There is happiness in our garden today.
Camellia japonica ‘Governor Mouton’ is blooming and will take the spotlight in this week’s vase. He is supported by candytuft and a bit of Cleyera foliage.
My Arranger selected the sugar bowl in the family tea set as the container of the week.
‘Governor Mouton’ blossoms open with a delightful soft pink hue and then mature to white, so we get the advantage of the contrast of both.
The host of this weekly display of flowers from our garden in a vase is Cathy at Rambling in the Garden. Please visit her site to see what she and others are sharing with us this week.
Perfect. Like pink sugar in a sugar bowl.

That’s one of the nicest camellias I have seen. What beautiful blooms. I will remember the name and look out for it.

Thank you, Joanna. It’s the only white one I have in this garden, although I had several others in my previous one.

They are the most gorgeous camellias, aren’t they? Thanks for sharing

There are many who would choose camellias as their favorite flower. I’m not quite there, but I’m close.
