It’s time for another In a Vase on Monday, hosted by Cathy at Rambling in the Garden. Several plants with lavender blue tones are featured in this week’s vase.
Taking center stage is bearded iris ‘Clarence,’ supported by ‘Blushing Bride’ hydrangea and ‘General Sikorski’ clematis. The greenery is cleyera japonica.

The clematis adds a lot. I’ve had mixed success with using them in a vase, some lasted only overnight but others, a week.

Dilly Dilly! This is stunning John – I must try and use clematis more often. The combination of blooms works perfectly with those complemtary colours ps Lavenders Blue and Dilly Dilly are the names of two of our chickens… 😉
