Just sharing a nice glass of wine on the front porch with my Arranger when we were visited by this cuddly little critter…about four inches long.

I suspect it was checking out “the good life” in suburbia for the first time.
Beware of hungry hawks in the neighborhood!

Only four inches? The little fellow looks much bigger. 🙂

You gotta believe me. It would have fit easily in my palm…but I didn’t try to pick it up.

And snakes! Believe it or not, I saw a rat snake eat a full size squirrel last week. I might have to share photos on the blog sometime.

Thanks, Amy. One of the joys of a camera on the phone. You never know what you will run into.

Aww, I just want to pick it up and put it somewhere safe.

Neighborhood kids wanted to do the same, but there is a danger to the bunny to do so at its young age. It might be shunned by its mom.

Sure, they look cute. Just wait until they eat your phlox or girdle you apple tree.

I can wait…and wait…and wait, but I don’t think the little critters are on my side.
