In a Vase on Monday: Lacecaps

It is clearly hydrangea time in my garden, so I will continue to highlight them in our weekly vase. This week I am pleased to offer ‘Twist and Shout’ lacecap hydrangeas in a simple white teapot.

Hydrangeas are attracting me more and more! Very elegant teapot! Did you know there is an hydrangea that you can use to make a tea? so your ‘vase’ is more apt than you may have thought.

Lovely hues – the white pitcher sets them off nicely!

The lacecap is beautiful. With the blue candle and book I was wondering if I should shout “Go Heels!” Maybe I will anyway, but looked up Carolina Thyme and found it is a cookbook–looks interesting.

I was hoping to see more of your Hydrangeas John, after a glimpse of them in your garden in the video of your winged visitor last week. Truly wonderful!

Oh, so that’s the name of these flowers. I thought they were just another hydrangea. 😊

I seem to have come to you late this week John. But my, what glorious lacecaps. They are my very favourite hydrangeas. Maybe my ignorance, but I always think of them as later summer flowering. Glorious whatever the time (and the right colour too!)
