Weekly Photo Challenge: Pure

The theme of this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is PURE.

The white in these flowers from my garden is about as pure as can be.

  10. White is always a refreshing color in a garden. It makes the other colors all the more vibrant. Nice to showcase white.

Thanks, Donna. I always thought of myself as a “pink” lover, but I have surprised myself in the amount of white. You are right about its role in the garden.

  19. Beautiful! As you know, I am fond of white flowers – especially in shady spaces. I like the creamy sort of white, which your flowers tend to have.

  20. I’m a sucker for hydrangea! They were in my wedding bouquet. I just added annual vinca to my collection of flower pots. They have proven to be quite hardy. Beautiful flowers abound in your gardens. Thanks for liking my photo challenge response so that I could find your blog!

Thanks, DRW. Annual vinca has turned out to be a very reliable plant here, and it comes in lots of colors. Love the photo of your daughter amongst the chicks.
