Time for In a Vase on Monday, hosted by Cathy at Rambling in the Garden. As I sat on the porch this morning with a cup of coffee and the paper, I was washed over with the wonderful fragrance of Gardenia jasminoides ‘Radicans.’ Why not cut a few to put in a vase to share?

The silver cup was given to my Arranger on the occasion of her baptism, suitably engraved.
Please join Cathy to see what she and other following her invitation are sharing from their gardens this day.

Beautiful flowers, and how lovely to have such a vase to display them!

I adore gardenias! I’m envious you have them in your yard. 🙂 I like the shot looking straight down at the marble table, it has old-fashioned grace.

How I would love to be able to grow gardenias John!! They are a favourite flower of mine but I can only have an odd potted one indoors and these never seem to survive – enjoy your beautiful scented blooms with your morning coffee!

That must be a terrible disappointment. I will think of you with morning coffee and the fragrance.

Oh goodness … I wish those of you on the other side of the ocean would stop displaying your gardenias so prominently! But seriously, what a lovely vase (all of it) – I can smell it from here!
