I took a quick look at my back garden this evening just before sharing a nice meal on our screen porch with my Arranger. Thanks to Helen at Patient Gardener for hosting this meme in which we share views of our gardens on the last day of the month.

Thank you, Pauline. It happens to be a rather colorful time in the garden, primarily because of the phlox, vitex, and crapemyrtles.

My Arranger must take credit for the blue…she sprinkles a bit of acidifier on it each spring.

A delightful garden, indeed. From what I can see, in spite of all the interest and beauty it gives, it has been designed to be relatively low-maintenance.

Thank you. It didn’t start out that way, but as I have aged, I have changed things out to make it a low maintenance garden. I have grown to dislike stoop labor.

How lovely , John . It looks like a cool evening for an enjoyable walk . Your Chaste, trees and Hydrangea are especially fine . Your garden is looking like summer !

And summer it is. Despite all the “bad” weather, some plants are doing their very best this year.
