In a Vase on Monday: Simplicity

Taking my Monday Walk in the Garden I found that the variegated liriope is starting to bloom. I also spied a single dwarf gardenia, perhaps the last of the season. What better to make a simple vase this day.

  4. I have been in Florida too long, I looked at the purple and thought ‘oh, Bromeliads!’ then realized it was Liriope! Pretty, whatever it is.

  5. Simple is often best. I went simple too this week. Nice to get back to basics once in a while, isn’t it. And let the flowers do all the work!

What a treat to still have gardenias. The liriope looks nice John. The flowers on mine look decent for the first time in a few years.
