The theme of this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is FRAME.
I used this arbor, covered with a variegated weigela to frame a view down the path in my former Chapel Hill garden. The pot draws your eye through the frame.

the pot did draw my eye – and the weigela is stunning as it has wrapped around the arbor with its own flair! nice take on frame

Beautiful garden John but having read ‘About John” I note that you have green fingers. Yes sir you do!

Thank you. Green fingers perhaps, but dirt under the fingernails for sure.

The fingers are framed by the dirt – makes absolutely sense should take photos of it and post it for the challenge!

I’ve steered away from weigela worrying it would get too large, but this is a wonderful use of it John. Must have been a wonderful place to garden.

It did get bigger than advertised. I was going to remove it when it blocked the path, but my wise Arranger suggested the arbor. It worked.

Yes, the photo gives me a peaceful sensation. I love gardening. I love to touch the dirt and don’t minds to have dirts inside my nails. Thank you for liking my Road to Hana. I have to come back to learn more about gardening from you.
