It is cooler here this Monday in mid-September and a delight to stroll around the garden looking for items to include in this Monday’s vase. The Encore azaleas are blooming now and will be featured.
Surrounding the azaleas are a few pink Knockout roses, variegated Liriope, an ‘Endless Summer’ hydrangea blossom, ‘White Swan’ coneflowers, and Society garlic. A few sprigs of ‘Sunshine’ ligustrum complete the arrangement.
The vase is a Waterford crystal candy dish.
Please visit Cathy at Rambling in the Garden to see what she and others are sharing from their gardens on this Monday.
Looks like spring!

You clearly have more than enough ammunition for your Monday vase.

I wish we had more; we try not to repeat too often, but at times it is necessary.

The azalea blooms are lovely John – and are the hydrangea blooms smaller than other varieties as they look small in comparison?

Thank you, Cathy. The hydrangea blossom had not reached its normal size. Typically, they are at least twice that size when fully opened.

That’s very pretty John. Those Azaleas must be a treat to look at in the garden too. 🙂
