The theme of this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is ANTICIPATION.
This was Christmas morning, thirteen years ago, with seven grandchildren gathered on the steps in patient anticipation of racing to another room to find their names on packages under the tree.
It’s amazing what the years have done for these little ones. The missing front teeth have returned. Two have finished college; three are still in. One is already married, and two are over six feet tall. What blessings!

We just married off our youngest this past weekend and it’s hard enough seeing our children grown…it must be even harder to believe when it’s the grands! I love the expressions on each of their faces, knowing what is to come!

Thanks. It’s a grand memory of times past. You are right about the grands getting married. Why does time go so fast now?

What a group of blessing, John. We’re happy our two girls will be home and glad not to have grandchildren, since neither is married yet. 🙂

The grandkids are starting to move about the country. It may be difficult, but I will try. Great idea

I know how difficult it is to get all the siblings and cousins together in one place. Good luck!
