For this week’s IAVOM we are sharing some of the flowers that you have seen recently but are still doing well in my garden. High winds and lots of (welcome) rain have played havoc with many plants, so we are back to some of our current favorites.
The arrangement includes ‘Sunglow’ azalea, deutzia ‘Chardonnay Pearls,’ and Siberian iris ‘Caesar’s Brother.’ The small ivory sculpture is a Japanese netsuke.
Please visit Cathy at Rambling in the Garden to her IAVOM contribution and those of others who are participating in this meme
The iris make a striking contrast with the azalea, don’t they? Thanks for sharing, however late the hour 😉

Pretty! Hope you didn’t have any storm damage today. We came through okay but our neighbor lost two huge tree limbs.

Lovely John. We’ve been expecting rain all day but only a few sprinkles.

Nothing wrong with a repeat performance when the flowers are so lovely.

The azalea is a lovely colour. And your irises are making me wonder how long I will have to wait for mine to flower too! We have also had very wet and windy weather here. Hopefully the sun will be back again soon. 🙂
