In a Vase on Monday: A Little Bit of This and That

A late Monday afternoon after nice rain over the weekend, just in time for In a Vase on Monday. My Arranger calls this creation”A Little Bit of This and That.”

The “that” part is from Hydrangea ‘Endless Summer’ that has weathered the heavy rains well. Complementing the hydrangea blossoms are “this” Society garlic (Tulbaghia violacea), with a background of ‘Sunshine’ Ligustrum sinense.

Please visit  Cathy at Rambling in the Garden  to see her lovely vase this week and that of the many followers of her meme.

Your lovely blues, John. Congrats to the Arranger! Something struck me, though, when I was admiring her cool concoction – what kind of average rainfall do you get, chez vous? Your vases are always so lush looking.

The Hydrangea are such a wonderful blue I’m not sure they need any additions; but what you’ve (the arranger has) chosen work very well.
