Weekly Photo Challenge: DELTA

The theme of this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is DELTA, in which we have been challenged to portray a scene that suggests transition and change.

The blossoms on a gladiola begin opening at the bottom of the flowering stem and continue in turn to the top. Buds at the top are yet to open as the ones at the bottom are fading. A blooming glad is truly in a state of transition.
