We recently spent a delightful week at Topsail Beach, NC. One thing I particularly enjoy at the beach is bird-watching. Let me share videos of two groups with you.

Hi John, the beach looked beautiful! I loved the birds and the way they change formation to save energy I presume. It’s the first time I have ever seen helicopters flying like that. Were they looking for something or someone?

I think the Marines were flying in formation to send a message to the beachgoers that they are ready!!!

I hadn’t seen that many aircraft in formation in a long time.

I like the first one best. The second is a bit disturbing to me. Perhaps I have seen Apocalypse Now too often.

Very impressive! I was ready to say I enjoyed the feathered fliers more, but the helicopters were just too cool to see all at once like that.
