A Photo a Week Challenge: Insects

The topic of this week’s challenge from Nancy Merrill Photography is INSECTS.

I looked back in my “critters” files and found these beauties:

An ant wearing white socks on its forelegs

A June bug waiting to get in my screened porch

I came to your site to see the beautiful Chansonette Camelia , but I noticed this picture, which I believe is not a June bug but a Cicada. Cicada’s have a very long life cycle, I think. https://www.ridmycritters.com/how-to-get-rid-of-june-bugs/
