Another challenging photo idea from Nancy Merrill’s weekly meme. This week the subject is “backlit.’ It is an opportunity to share photographs with Old Sol providing the illumination from the rear with interesting results.
Muhly grass is native to our area. It sits as a quiet clump of greenery from spring through summer. But in fall, when its seed heads open and the sun is behind it, it becomes a spectacular point in the garden.

Fall leaves can be lovely subjects when backlit on a cool autumn afternoon.

Please visit Nancy at https://nadiamerrillphotography.wordpress.com/2021/04/12/a-photo-a-week-challenge-backlit-2/ to see her offering and others who have joined in the challenge.
Two lovely photo responses to this challenge.
