The theme of this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is MAGIC.
The changing of the colors in the woods behind my garden from green to yellow and orange and red is indeed magic. In my head I know it is the action of plant chemistry, but in my heart I am still fascinated by the magic of the garden each fall.

I completely agree! Even after knowing the scientific reason for the changing of colours, I like to believe it’s one of the few magical touches of life.

I, too, agree, John. The science of the seasons does nothing to lessen their magic.

Thanks, Janet. It’s helpful to understand the science, but again it is helpful to be in awe at times.

I’m in complete agreement. It’s as if the trees hold a secret all summer, only revealing it in autumn. What a wonderful season!
